What is Atopic Dermatitis?
Atopic dermatitis is a chronic skin disease in which the skin goes through cycles of being inflamed and itchy. It is not contagious. Atopic dermatitis is sometimes referred to as "eczema," which is a word that describes any condition in which the skin becomes inflamed.
