How Does EpiCeram Work?
EpiCeram is thought to rebuild the depleted skin barrier by restoring the natural balance of lipids within the outer layer of the skin. It does this by providing the skin with an optimally-balanced combination of ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids, which are some of the "building blocks" of the skin.
By replenishing the skin’s physiologic lipids, EpiCeram helps to normalize the skin’s pH and prevent it from drying out.
